The size of the class also plays a role. The smaller the class, the greater your chance of being successful, which is why our Arabic courses are limited to a maximum of six persons. Of course, we also offer mini groups and one-to-one lessons, which further enhance your chances for learning Arabic successfully.
Listening, speaking, reading and writing - these four basic skills are the foundation for our Arabic lessons. With the help of role playing, group discussions and conversations in the class, your knowledge of vocabulary, sentence structure and expressions can be noticeably improved.

Our evening courses can be booked in blocks of 12 to 48 weeks. You can make dramatic headway with our Arabic intensive course. The various courses cover a great deal of material and are available in four-week semi-intensive evening courses or two-week, super-intensive morning courses.
Upon completion of your Arabic course, you will receive an IH Berlin PROLOG certificate. It is widely recognized as proof of your advancement in Arabic.

Interesting facts about Arabic
Arabic (in Arabic: اللغة العربية) belongs to the southern branch of Semitic languages and thereby to the Afro-Asian language family.
Individual Arabic dialects in different countries are sometimes quite different from each other and especially when they are geographically distant from one another (example: Morocco and Iraq), they are often mutually unintelligible or very difficult to understand, comparable with some disparate German dialects.
Arabic, broadly speaking, is comprised of a multitude of different language forms, which are and have been used in the last 1500 years. What links all these language forms is primarily Islam and especially the Koran. Variations of Arabic are spoken by about 200 to 300 million people.
