In Berlin to Learn Spanish
The quality of any Spanish course depends completely on the competence of the teacher. It's for this reason that all of our teachers are native Spanish speakers. They have all amassed considerable teaching experience in the field of adult education.
We base our Spanish tuition on the four core competencies: speaking and listening comprehension, reading and writing. Conversation during the course, role-plays and group discussions all play their parts in improving language structures, broadening vocabulary and enhancing accuracy of expression.
The smaller the group, the greater the personal learning success. Therefore, your Spanish course will have a maximum of six participants. If even this is too big for you, you can learn Spanish in a mini-group or have individual (one-to-one) tuition.

The Spanish Language - A brief History
Spanish or Castilian (español, castellano) belongs to the Romance languages, a branch of the Indo-European languages, and is often categorised along with Portuguese and Catalan as an Ibero-Romance language.
Alternatively, Spanish can be grouped with French, Catalan, Portuguese, Occitan and other, smaller, Romance languages from western Romania. Written Spanish was shaped by the spoken language of the central Spanish Castille region. In order to differentiate this language from Galician, Basque or Catalan, the language is known within Spanish borders as Castellano (Castilian).
There are currently around 360 million Spanish native speakers. Spanish has about 20 million more native speakers than English. Most Spanish speakers live in Central and South America. Include second language speakers and the number climbs to over 420 million. Alongside Mandarin, English and Hindi, Spanish is one of the four most used languages in the world.
Spanish is one of the European Union's official languages. It also an official language of the United Nations and the Organisation of American States.
