General terms & conditions

• The minimum age for all course participants is 16.
• No tuition takes place on weekends or on official public holidays.
• The total course fee must be received by IH Berlin PROLOG at least 10 days before the start date of the course.
• 1. Written notification of cancellation of a booking received more than 10 days before the course start date will result in an administration fee of €50.
  2. Should written notification of cancellation of a booking be received less than 10 days before the start date of the course, 50% of the total course fee will be payable.
  3. Should a student not turn up for a course without any form of written notification of cancellation of the booking, the full course fees and accommodation costs will be payable, or if paid in advance, will not be refunded.
• There will be no refunds for tuition missed where the student is responsible for their own absence.

• 1. Should the student require a visa to travel to Germany, the amount stated in the invoice must be paid immediately. Only once full payment has been received will IH Berlin PROLOG send an official letter of invitation on behalf of the student to the relevant German consulate and a copy of this letter to the student.
  2. Should the visa application be successful, the student should immediately inform PROLOG of the exact dates (s)he wants to attend a course.
  3. Should the visa application be unsuccessful, the student needs to send the official letter declining the application to PROLOG. Only when this has been received can PROLOG refund the course fees previously paid, minus the €50 administration fee.
• Comprehensive health and travel insurance are recommended.

• The place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
