El programa cultural de nuestros estudiantes

Junto a sus efectivas clases de lengua en grupos reducidos, la programación cultural y de intercambio social de la escuela representa otro punto sobresaliente de la oferta de ESL PROLOG Berlin.

Paseos culturales, excursiones y visitas se organizan de manera regular, con una frecuencia mínima de cuatro veces por semana, para acercar a nuestros estudiantes a las particularidades de la cultura alemana.

Todas nuestras salidas son gratuitas (salvo casos excepcionales donde exista el cobro de una entrada) y están lideradas por un miembro de nuestro equipo de colaboradores. A continuación presentamos los próximos eventos de nuestra agenda cultural (en inglés).

Documentation Centre of the Berlin Wall / Bernauer Straße


The documentation centre was opened on the 10th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November, 1999. It provides information about the history of the Berlin Wall. Bernauer Straße was a focus point of German post-war history due to its position directly on the border between East and West. The centre is used for research and the presentation of the history of division in Berlin and Germany as a whole.

Potsdam


Potsdam is the capital and the most populous city in Brandenburg. The northeast of Potsdam borders the southwest of Berlin.
Potsdam, along with its numerous and unique palaces and park gardens, is especially famous for its history as the former royal capital of Prussia. This cultural landscape was added to the list of world heritage sites by UNESCO as the largest ensemble of German heritage sites in 1990. We’ll take a walk through the centre of the city. We’ll start at the Alten Markt with the city castle, Nikolaikirche and Altem Rathaus and then on to the Lustgarten and Neuen Markt and finish at the Stadtkanal.

Length: approx. 3 hours
Meeting point: 12:00 at Hauptbahnhof POTSDAM (S1 bis Wannsee, then the S7 to Potsdam Hbf),
in front of the information stand of the Deutschen Bahn.

Kreuzberg Museum


The Museum for the District Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg regards itself as the memory of the district. It contains a comprehensive archive of both district parts and information for everyone who is interested.
There is also a changing exhibition about the regional and district history that answers question about current topics, e.g. immigration, industrial, commercial and urban development; there is a permanent exhibition with sections about city development and migration history on two floors; a historical printer, from the former Otto Schneider printer’s shop.

Allied Museum


After the Second World War, Berlin was divided into four occupied sectors by the allies Great Britian, France, the USA and the Soviet Union. The Allied Museum in Berlin-Zehlendorf is in the Clayallee in the former American sector. The museum shows documents and object from that time.

Meeting point: 11 a.m. at the subway station Oskar-Helene-Heim (U3; Exit Clayallee)
