German Certificate

The examination Start Deutsch 1 completes the first level - A2 - of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This level is reached after 300 teaching hours.

Upon successful completion of this examination, you have proved that you can be understood in German at a basic level. You have shown that you can understand, speak and write German.

The examination consists of different parts: hearing, reading, written expression and an oral group examination. The complete examination takes about 85 mins. The examination Start Deutsch 2/Start Deutsch Z 2 serves as the intermittent examination in integration courses and is an important documentation for your CV that you have reached an elementary level of German.
