COMBI 5-German course

Most of our students decide to schedule their individual lessons in the morning, before their STANDARD group lessons. Every student taking individual lessons will have their own individual goals: whether they want to improve their spontaneity in preparation for a job interview or focus on specialised topics; concentrate on their individual area of interest; or examine aspects of German grammar in more detail, we have the teachers who can plan lessons to focus exclusively on your needs!

The four group lessons that build the remainder of your course programme divide their focus between aspects of German grammar and practical, functional usage of the language you have learned. Each of the four main language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) are intensively and thoroughly trained. None of courses serve up dry and dusty knowledge - we select relevant and current topics in order to build context for what you are learning and in order to guarantee lively and interesting lessons throughout your time with us.

Every Friday, all of our German groups take tests that reflect on the themes, topics and language of the week. This enables you to see for yourself exactly how much progress you are making, to identify points that you haven't fully grasped and to provide feedback on the progress of your course. The tests also allow us to identify quickly and easily any content that may need to be examined more deeply or language points that may need to be repeated.

The COMBI 5 German courses begin with an hour of individual tuition from 08:45 to 09:45. After a 15-minute break, group tuition takes place from 10:00-13:15 with another 15-minute break at 11:30-11:45.

It is not necessary to know any German in order to book our COMBI 5 course. Complete beginners can start on the first Monday of every month and learners with at least a basic knowledge of German can start on any Monday.
