PREMIUM-German course
This is the perfect German course for extremely motivated learners who want to make the most progress they possibly can in the shortest possible time. With 30 lessons per week, you will improve your German communication skills in both written and spoken German quickly and permanently.
In addition to the German STANDARD and INTENSIVE courses, the PREMIUM course allows you to develop your written skills in a small group with a maximum of 7 participants. This intensive extra training will allow you to make impressive strides in your learning.
Each day begins with a focus on writing skills in your small group. The framework for these writing lessons consists of looking at a variety of written forms (e.g. formal letters, emails, etc.) combined with the particular needs of the members of the group.
Keeping the group so small, with no more than seven participants, means that we can really address your specific needs and delve deeply into the aspects of German that are of most interest to you. For the writing lessons you can choose between a focus on
• Communication & Culture and
• Business & Career.
During your STANDARD course lessons that follow, you won't only increase your understanding of German grammar and expand your vocabulary, you will also hone your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. In the speaking lesson, our priority is improving your speaking skills.

Spoken communication
The PREMIUM German course starts at 09:00 with the written communication lesson, which lasts until 09:45.
Following a 15-minute break, you will join your STANDARD course group from 10:00-13:15. This block of lessons is divided into two 90-minute sessions, with a 15-minute break inbetween.
Then there is another 45-minute lesson which is also part of the INTENSIVE course and focuses on spoken communication.

To join our PREMIUM courses you need to have been learning German for between 150 and 200 hours (the beginning of the A2 level). The levels at ESL PROLOG - Berlin are those of the • Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Once we have the results of your placement test, we will allocate you to the most suitable group prior to the start of your course.
